Nice video was that taken with Daves new headcam? Jeffo was out again today and got a couple more solo this time. Smithy was also in the action with some smart boat handleing as the pictures show.

good to see your still getting them up north, headed of the seaway early friday morning to the 50s, there were 7 other boats live baiting as well, but the current was roaring and very hard to stay on the bait, didn't see any fish been caught.

I was out on Daryl's 5.2m KevlaCat and we tagged 2 from 2. Lot a bit of gear to the toothies and also got a nice 12kg Kingy on the way home at the Blinker. Nice day on the water and a few refreshing showers to cool it down.

Wow awesome weekend guys, Wish we had those fish down here. Chased Blues out wide saturday for not a touch, raised one mid morning behind long rigger and seen a free jumper but no luck with hooking one.
Cheers

Guys, what has happened to all of the Sailfish? They seem to be noticeable by their absence.
Great stuff too by the way.

Matt, sailfish time on the Sunshine Coast was generally March-may and august-Oct. Although they are far fewer in numbers in recent years its still generally those times we catch them. Ive caught more in the middle of winter than I have in the peak of summer.
Jeff or Smithy, what was the Sailfish count from the comp?

None Bunny. Been a few sniffing around down at the Cape/Flinders/Hutchies area the last 6 weeks or so. We might get a run of them now through March which was the tradition from the 80's and 90's.
Thanks Rob, a bit surprised in that, I thought there would have been few up Chardons way.
PS: Down the Goldy last weekend and just caught up with the comp report on your website http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd207/bunzo51/Smileys/thumbsup.gif
