I have a good problem that I need to fix. On the Haines Classic 600 I have a 200 litre kill tank in between the drivers and passengers seat with a lift up lid for access. I have a 105litre esky which I take out fishing which is 90cm wide. We constantly catch fish over the Metre mark and have to bend them to fit them in the esky which is not great for storing the fish until we get home. The kill tank is massive and about 140cm in length. I only need half of it to bleed a fish in and the other half I would like to convert to an insulated ice box. Has anyone done this before? If so, how did you do it without paying a fortune? Something removeable would be even better in case I want to revert back to just kill tank.

I have attached 2 photo's which show the kill tank lid and inside. The lid is only half the length of the tank itself.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Dave

You can store it in your kill tank when its full of Hoo and Macs;D . You only use it when you need the extra cooler space. After your last trip I think you might need two::)
