Hey guys just a quick report from the goldie..... Have headed out a few times over the holiday break chasing the blues and blacks with blue results going 3,2,0 and blacks results 4,1,0... very dissapointing on the marlin front however the big dollies are keeping the drags ticking over:) Each trip we have managed at least 3 dollies mostly around the 10kg to 12kg mark with our first small one coming in last trip weighing in at 6kg. we have also had 10 so far topping the 15kg mark and finally managed to snag one 1 over 20kg. The cobolt blue warm water has arrived Finally, with reports of bait everywhere and with tommorrow looking the goods, we will put the lures in again and see how we go! Also very happy with the hydrofields new extension and new 225 Honda, as for a full day out wide chasing blues with the engine starting at 4am and turning off around 5pm we use a total of 140ltrs max in rough weather and between 120 to 130 on calm days, so we couldnt be more impressed with the new rig... Sorry about no photos but ill get some up over the next few days....

Cheers
Matty

From 40 m to 700m mate but the 60m seem to be holding the dollies when I fishing light tackle but 100m on wards when wide but the main grounds out wide are holding some big dollies

Good to see you getting a few dollies.

Terrible to see someone having as much bad luck with the marlin as I am. We went 6-3-0 yesterday. Could not plant a circle hook for hell or high water.
