Daz (Wahoo) had a good run out of one. His new boat is powered by a 300 Verado so he must have been happy with his 225.

Send him a pm as he will be more then happy to answer any questions you have.

I have an '05 250. Dare I say It's magfrigginnificent?

The V-Rod is quiet, clean, and all torque from 500 revs. You'll love it. Power steering is lovely, and the smartcraft stuff is all very accurate and reliable.

Mine has 450 hours on it.

Big, black and sexy. As if you wouldn't!!!

You have to have it serviced by a specialist. Where are you based?

Cheers,

Tim

Surveyor i've had my 250 for 1yr 08 model. It's great no problems what soever.i'd own another one for sure, average's 1.1 /1.2 klms to the litre for a typical day offshore.Over 4500 rpm probably 10% heavier on fuel than ya suzy's & yammies but the extra goodies more than make up for it.Had a couple of boy's out a while back that run a 250 yammy & they commented on how much quieter it was & were quiet impressed with the punch it had.(i test drove a yammy and went with the verado ,nothing against yammies though i've owned a few & all have been trouble free)

No it would of been done by now, merc knew about this, once it has been changed/upgraded no other problems that i know of, i brought my motor 100K's south from where i live and thats where it gets its service, my 100hr set me back $415. alot of guys in the bigger city are paying up to 200- 300 more for the same stuff

Do you have tabs on there Jason? They seem to have taken most of the bruises out for me...

I have a set of lencos on tim, they help soften the ride a lot.The outsider is a better ride in my opinion, but i chose a bigger fishing cockpit & i like the layout of the explorer. The cruise craft is a very good boat ,but when your last boat was a 2700 noosa cat anything else is gunna hurt when it gets snotty.
what's that word i keep telling myself COMPROMISE,COMPROMISE
