First Billfish for the Boat

[Whale Bone]

Had a late start last Sunday morning unfortunately and didn't get on the water until 11am, leaving from Mooloolaba. Tagged this little black as the first for the boat. Got him on a skip gar on 15Kg. Cant wait to get out there again soon.

Nice little fish mate well done but you need to get that tag up a bit higher on the fish it does them no good that low but well done again and Merry Christmas

Great effort there Whale Bone, very healthy looking fish.
Try to aim your tag placement for the shoulder of the fish (just back from the head)
That way i'll miss any vital organs and get a good hold in the muscle.
Keep going, its a great sport.
