Brother and Nephew arrived yesterday and as did my cousin so it was arranged to go for a fish.
Weather was ordinary but we managaed a stop at one of the furthest Ilslands off the coast for a troll and a squid but nothing was interested so off wider we did and was pretty sloppy with a dropping away swell but we got there.\ Hard to anchor we spun up one spano and a big salt and pepper trevally , but aprt from a few miss's seeing a couple good sized spotties flying around we moved further to a small rubble patch and we caught some nice trouit spangled grassy and smaller trevalley with a lot of undersized stuff going back. We didn't stay long as my cousin had to go pick up a friend from the airport so we went for a quick snorkle and spear around the keppels then home.
Next fishing trip will be boxing day fishing a traditons for us

Good looking fish for xmas. You always seem to come up with the goods.

Are there any weather windows coming up in the near future as I was trying to head up that way to possibly Stanage Bay for a few days lounging around the Percy group

Cheers
Chris

Wasabi???? you must have a cast iron gut JT. Dont mind those wasabi coated peas though.
We hit the Bindaree for a few hours Xmas day before lunch under the oaks on facing Island. Picked up a dozen trevors off the bindaree that went into the nipper kipper later that night with a few blondies. And thats Xmas for another year:)
