Calibrating fuel usage HDS to suzuki DF

Hi I have had my hds 5 fitted for a while and have been trying to callibrate the fuel usage I have done according to the book but the usage has gone crazy to start with I was about 5 liters out when using 50 but now i use 26 and the hds says i have used 88l any help would be great maybe im not reading the book correctly

Rusty,

you need to reset the back to the default and start again from scratch, when you do this make sure you start the calibration with a full tank of juice (easier).

Add the correct for the first 2-3 times you top up the tank, make sure it is accurate.

Once you do this, when you add fuel and it says recalibrate select "NO" most times unless the unit is way out.

When you reset to the default settings dose it reset everything on the hds

Unsure on the HDS, have only ever done it on my LMS which did remove the tank configuration settings. easy enough to reconfigure though.

your HDS with the latest software version allows you to backup the settings so that you can restore the configuration, make a backup anyway.
