We headed sunday out wide to see if we could hook up to a marlin. We did not see any for the day but managed to hook up 3 good dollies, all bulls and dropped one on the shot gun. The biggest put a good fight on even 37 kilo and even better fight when he hit the deck. LOL

How far out is "wide" ?
Never caught one B4 and hear great stories about them folllowing floating objects. Every time I see a bit of debris in the water gets me excited. So how did you find these brutes?
Well done!

Very nice dollies guys, well deserved.
It has been a long time since I've seen these or even caught one.
If anyone is out to catch these and can offer a ride send me a pm and I'll contribute towards the fuel costs.

Thanks for all the positive posts.
We were fishing off moreton island from the 100m line out and were just trolling a standard spread of five marlin lures. just ran over the right spot where the fish were.
Soulfish,
I am going this weekend so i will hold you to your promise!
