each boat is carring approx ten 200l drums of aviation fuel for the heli's, not bad for a carved out tree trunk

From what I've heard they should be some awesome pic's mate

A good mate of mine was working over there as a pipeline dive welder and was getting busted up on 200lb hand lines...Lol... takes you back in time but thats all they had.

Those dugouts have amazing load capability and with the drums flat on the floor, stability would also be pretty good.

Used to live in Africa and have experienced travel in them. Think of a very long, narrow heavy long boat.
