View Full Version : eziguides for boat trailer ???

been looking at these for putting on the trailer to help with keeping the boat straight when winching it on when there is a fair cross wind or current.
anybody on here that has used them and reckon there worth it. cheers

I use them, very easy to use and makes driving on a breeze. Boat length 5m glass. Not sure how they go on much bigger boats though. I have a mate who has a 7.5m glass boat and uses it for winching, he uses an electric winch but reckons it saves him a lot of effort in pushing the boat across.

Like Spartan says they are very useful with the right setup. Get the correct spring tension for your weight boat, not just size.

In my experience with the 4.2 tinney they always center the boat on the rollers whether there is a cross wind or current or driver non alignment, just don,t miss them altogether.
