Hi all,

A mate is thinking of buying a 4.5 mtre Hinton. I cant help him with this one as I have never heard of them and have no idea. I have had a look and it is a very tidy boat. It reminds me alot and maybe exactly the same as my old Haines V16 (have a 565 now its a ripper). he wants to use it to go outside and also to tow the kids around with skies and doughnuts etc. if its the same as the haines going outside woudnt be a problem. It has a 90 Mariner on the back and it is in great condition and runs really well. Some won told me that it was a boat builder at Avalon that buit these??? Has any one got any ideas on these boats?????

Hi denmor77.

Why not your friend consider a " real haines " rather than some of the try hard knock offs.I can vouch for the quality of this package.

I was in it last Saturday after it had just been pulled down and freshened up internally and it is a real treat, nice and roomy to fish and plenty of power for watersports.

Cheers

Thanks Steve, mate looks and sounds good. Id prefer him to be in an original Haines as he loves my 565. But dollars are the problem. Dont know if he can go that high. but I will let him know. We are on the Central Coast so its only a hop to warners. The hinton is in his dollar range
