Coolmunda Dam

Gday all
Ive never been here, I always like to see new places
Im thinking of taking the family to Coolmunda Dam in early december.
Can anyone tell me about the camping conditions and fees please.
Also how has it been fishing

Codcatcher, you have 2 choices as far as camping goes. There is the caravan park which is away from the dam a little bit but has all the amenities.There are also plenty of areas to camp by the water if you are self sufficient. December will be a busy time of year to go there as it is very popular with skiers but that happens when it gets warm. Not really sure how it has been fishing though.

Daryl, Coolmunda is about 20 klm's out of Inglewood towards Warwick. Can be a very good yella fishery with the odd murray cod thrown in as well. My old man is a regular at the dam, will give him a call tonight for an update on the fishing.

Spoke to Dad last night. He said the fishing has been a bit steady but has heard of some nice cod getting caught.
