Haines hunter 600r

Hi outsider there is one on boat point brighton qld at the moment top money though but in mint condition late model merc like all old haines dont do much wrong depends what your needs are cheers rod by the way the owners name is peter he bought a 773L :o

I had a look at it to, hull looks in exceptional condition, but worth that $$?
New motor was a EFI for memory....

I think that is pretty steep for an 1982 model. Doesn't say if the floor and transom have been done. They would be getting to the age that they would have to be done.

And it's only got an EFI on it. They aren't worth much as they get older. I think your right on the money, I'd reckon it's only worth 30ish. If everything has been done and trailer is fine then maybe a little more.

Not neccessarily Pazz if it has been looked after and judging by the photo's, it has been.

The floor/transom on my '79 19C is solid as a rock.

The EFI would be worth probably 8K max and they do like a drink;)

Not even sure it's a 600R, did not think they came out with bunks:-/ but stand to be corrected.

Ive been in a friends 600r haines a few years back, and fished the reefs wide from Townsville very impressed to this day with this boats ride and fishing space.Still hopeing to pick one up a bit cheaper than the one on boat point,any imfo appreciated. cheers jason

Hi Outsider

This is a well set up boat, almost a classic and as a result its priced high.

Have you looked at equivalent boats with the gear this has?

In a few years what would it bring, given you can always haggle were you to consider buying it.

After all you do get what you pay for at the end of the day and a few $s more or less with nothing to do but enjoy probably wont seem such an issue in a yrs time.

new floor and stringers
s/s rocket launcher
bow sprit
anchor winch
extended bow rail around bow sprit
new windscreen
s/s rail around windscreen
front and rear canopies either side of rocket launcher
front clears and side curtains
fibreglass duckboard
s/s ladder
