I think you'll find these are usually sold to go on lake boats in the US and Canada with "toy"anchors.

Note the anchor size and boat size recommendations. 45 lb anchor is a fairly big anchor

Can't complain about the price.

but, i guess like everything in life you get what you pay for.

Reading the tech. specs. it sounds like it would pull up a fair size anchor.

25lb=11.3 kgs
(i guess that includes chain weight as well)

The size of the rope seems a little small though 3/16 of an inch (4.7mm)
It claims to have a tensile strength of 600lb/272kg.

Is that strong enough to hold a 16 foot glass boat?
