Afternoon All,

I have a JW bow mount with foot controler, my question is, when the motor is up out of the water and locked into position to travel there is a fair amount of "wobble" at the top of the motor.

As I do a few trips from Brisvegas to Monduran and to Somerset im worried that the motor may suffer damage as a result of it moving so much.

I have seen what i think is called a motor stay for the MK bow mounts but am unsure if they make them for the watersnake or if the MK can fit the JW

Any comments on what you have done to fix it, or if you think im worrying over nothing would be greatly apreciated

Cheers

Mate, I have a Minn Kota RT55 on a 'quick release' bracket...

When I travel to Mondy I take it off the boat and pack it in the back of the 4WD. It takes 30 seconds to re-connect so no dramas....

The goat track to Mondy would shake loose just about anything so I don't want to risk my leccy...

Pete
