I am wondering what the 4 lights at the bottom of the tacho mean? (left to right)

I know they are the system check lights, but whilst i was out boating today the 1st light (on the left) lit up and made an ear peircing constant beep.

Performance did not change or anything else out of the ordinary.

It did it consistently after three or four consecutive runs @ WOT

I did notice as soon as i moved the key back one notch it no longer did this, when the alarm went off, the deadman switch was not active/on.

as soon as the deadman switch was active, i no longer had the problem.

The motor is a 1998 model Evinrude 70 HP.

any ideas.......???

thanks

yeah you have a fuel blockage alarm which means a kink in fuel line or in your fuel breather
