Brooms head Boat ramp

Im thinking of heading down to brooms head for hols can someone give me the heads up on the boat ramp there I will be launching a 5m tinnie behind a nisssan xtrail. Please no sht about the car.

ramp is just ok
long one down the beach behind a breakwater

i go down to sandon river to launch
much better in the river ththen out the bar that looks ok on a good day

lots of green zones down around there

I have launched a 4.55 tinny from their, You need to head along the beach not too far out until you line up the markers on the hill and then head out as a line of rocks runs along the beach. first time i went out it looked ok and headed straight out over the rocks, a local came down and told me I was lucky not to hit the bottom.Best advice ask a local in the area as gave good advice to me.

I'd go Sandon first choice. It's only a 10 minute drive. If not, sit and watch the swell from the caravan park for a while at Broomes. It will give you are fair idea of where the reefs are and how or if it's breaking.
