I have a 2000 Kevlacat 2400 with Suzuki DF140 mounted on the old style pods
Could anybody who has the same setup let me know how high the motors are mounted. Mine are as high as they can go and the motors begin to cavitate if I go higher than 69 %
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike, I'm overseas at the moment but from memory I think mine are 2 holes down (from as high as they can go). I've never had a cavitation problem. Sounds like you need to lower yours a couple of holes.

Hi Mike
I have got 2006 KC and my 140 HP Suzuki's are on the the second down from the top mounting holes. I have only had boat 6 months (done a heap of hours now though) I rang Kevlcat when I first got boat and confirmed that this is the location that they set them up from new.

If you have the old pods like mine then I reckon that should work.
What props have you got on it? Mine are the 4 blade solas stainless ones that are commonly used for this setup, I've found them excellent. Never had to try anything else when I re-engined a couple of years ago.
Good luck, Scotty.

After reading some of the posts I would like to try and find out how the trim tabs should be set on DF140 with counter rotating motors
Mine on set straight and the motors are set in a neutral position (no toe-in)
Thanks
Mike
