G'day

I want to lift my trailer abit so it sits on more of a horizonal in reguard to the tow ball, at the moment it sits on about a 30 degree angle and the number plate on the back of the trailer is abit close to the ground for my liking. its only a small trailer with 2 leaf springs and 12" tyres ( i think). im thinking about putting hubs on and bigger tyres, but im not sure if that will help as much as i want. its only a light boat, so if i raise it too far it may become too top heavy. and possibly bounce around and roll. what do you guys think i should do?

Why dont you just lower your tow ball?

Worked for me.

There are different heights of towballs. Some towball tounges are suitable to be used upside down with teh ball still fitted upright. Any caravan or towing shop will have other tongues avaliale with different drops or some may bend your existing ( not recomended but if they are insured.

It will make trailer ride much better and be safer..
