Cheap accommodation in Mooloolaba

Hi all,
In two weeks time I'm going on a all day charter with Smithy, and was going to the hero thing and drive up in the morning ,fish all day and drive back home, all in the one day. But after giving it some thought if I do that then there is more than a good chance that I would end up wrapped around a tree or worse.

So dose anyone know of good cheap accommodation in Mooloolaba?

There will be 3 of us My Step- Daughter (Trudi), my normal fishing buddy and my self.
It doesn't need to be to flash just some where to toss down for the night before we go out on Sunday the 9th of August.

Gee I must be getting old when I don't want to do a 3 1/2 hr drive before and after a day's fishing

Don't know any names, but there is units etc on the road on the spit that is about a couple of hundred meters from the boat ramp.

Parkyn Parade is the name of the street.

There is also a caravan park with cabins on this road.
