Great fishing you lads had there mate!

Nice work cracking three 20 pounders in a day!

Good to see the new rig getting some serious fish on board. I think your A.J from a few trips ago will take some beating!

Nice nobbies Justin. The big bonehead snapper will cruise in close to DI over the next couple of months. Look for bait shows on top of the coffee rock south east of DI;)

Once again Justin,
Keep up the good work. It's reports like this that will help me keep my sanity in hope of finding decent fish down south. The missus wants to move back to Noosa once we finish working up here (approx 3/5 years).

Were those rippers on rod and reel or were you using the winch in the deep?

Mate you should have been entered in rainbow comp, all 3 of those snapps would have taken out the biggest snapper for the comp, the biggest so far is only 8.1kg cleaned!!!

Looks like you had an awesome trip! Don't wanna share some marks out that way do you? :P

Nick - i prefered the winch the other guys were using rods but all worked well

outwide1 - they were schooled everywhere if you could beat the sharks

spot 82 - did you end up fishing the rainbow comp?, tried calling a mate fishing it to share the spot but did not answer, unlucky bugger :) there were more than what i caught there.

cheers justin

Yeh fishing the comp, I got biggest pearlie on Sunday night and got beaten wed night by 75grams :( Still second overall for the comp though. I also missed out on biggest sweetlip on tuesday night by less than 150grams, so close yet so far!

Looks like the weather has had it now, so not sure if many people will be heading out. Fish have been very slow though really for most people, we would have been lucky to get 50 fish in 5 days of fishing including an overnighter, which is really strange for fishing out here.
