Took the kids for a run with us today in mildly sloppy arse conditons , Wasn't much for a fish so we went squiding and came up trumps again after a slow start and cold frisky morning let me tell ya.
We tackled 15 nice fella's with a beautiful double net job by myself with a squid following his mate right to the boat and netted him with his buddy with out a worry. Once again the squid were quite large and aggresive.
Wind didn't drop off enuff to get out to any wide ground so we went for a snorkle around one of the islands then home

Just using the coloured squid jigs ..... Swapping between clours to get there attention. And drifting across the coral casting and retrieving . More success out of the pink colours................ So i paint them with fluro pink paint helps a bit. Couple of the rods have the glow ones drifting in the current . Being in the right place at the right time helps. But this year has done us well for squid still not many snapper up this way for us

Great effort mate.
I love squid. Lightly crumbed in breadcrumbs and fried in butter. then smashed with salt as soon as they get out of the pan.......GOTTA GO!!!
