I am looking at getting a glind hot water system for my 09 prado and was wondering if anyone had used the system before or are still using it. The main reason for going for the heat exchange is I will have a good supply of water and would like to have a shower with a full 7-9lt/min flow so that puts the primus and coleman out as they only run at 3-4lt/min. I have all but made up my mind on this system the only thing that worries me is the idle up time for the prado to get to temp and will it run hot enough at idle????

Cheers Brenden

Brendon, I have a Glind in my 98 Prado and it takes no time to heat up. At idle and with the themostat set on cold, the water is still bloody hot!!!!!!

Just make sure that you manage the water flow through the shower rose sparingly as they do tend to chew through the water relatately quickly. (well my wife tends to anyway :) )
