I use a free program on my computer called wxtides you can find it on google, I just use it for planning trips as you can click different stages on the tidal curve and it show tide height, also shows moon phases and sun times. I also found this page http://www.flaterco.com/xtide/ports.html it is basically the same thing but you can use it on mobile phones etc I down loaded one today onto nokia 6320 looks the same as wxtides showing tide height in metres should been handy to check heights to get back to use tide restricted ramps here in mackay check it out anyway cheers Yamp

Hi mate,

i have this one saved to my favourites.

www.fishingreminder.com (http://www.fishingreminder.com)

Only started using it a couple of weeks ago, so far nothing special to report.

Nicely setup though, with email reminders of good fishing days.

cheers

If you have an Iphone you can download a couple of applications to do it for you and take it with you everywhere. There is a Fishing Calendar and Tides apps.

For your computer try, Tim Smiths Solar & Lunar Fishing & Hunting Predictor CD ROM, or Ultimate Fishing Planner Smartfish CD.

Mate, I don't have any computer software, but, I certainly do have a diary which I write down catches, moon phases and tides in after every trip.
I have been thinking on transferring it to Microsoft Excell. Put it into a database, but, there is too much info to transfer.
So I have kept the diary going. Doesn't take long, just jot down what stage of the tide you caught the fish, what the moon phase was, what the wind was doing.
If I were you, and I was starting now, I would be doing up a spreadsheet on the computer and jot the info into this form now on.

Just the way I do things!!
Jason.
