Alpha 1 Stern leg

Hi people

I have a 4.3l mercruiser with an Alpa 1 stern leg. When I spin the prop by hand when its in Nuetral there is a slight click. Does anyone know what it could be ? Is it a bearing on its way out or something ? Doesnt seam to be any play in it and it spins freely enough. All comments advice appreaciated

Hi Paulio I have the same set up and mine dosn't make a clicking sound although you can here a very slight noise that would be the gears meshing in the very bottom of the leg.

Thanks mate, that might be all it is. Just noticed it when I was washing up the boat.
