G'day.
I'll be purchasing a new custom built centre console in the not too distant future. I've received quotes & spoken to a select few boat builders in QLD. Dave from Riptide, Jason from OMM & Scott at Blue Water. I've narrowed it down to these blokes as they build some fantastic boats & I'm far more confident in putting an order through with one of these builders.
I'm located in WA, but will be moving back home to Brisbane... eventually. However, I've since stumbled across Evolution Boat Builders (custom plate boats) - not Evolution boats in VIC.
Chris @ EBB has been in the boating game for quite some time. He was awarded Boat of the Year 2008 & Boat of WA 2008 (for a 17ft Centre Console).
I'm just wondering if any fellow ausfisho has had any experience with one of Chris' boats, whether you own one or simply been in one.
The labour costs & Chris' hull design is marginally dearer than the other blokes, however, Chris is the type of bloke that wants to build a trophy boat.
Any comments?
