Brisbane boat storage

Hi all,

I've been looking around for 24 hour trailer boat storage as i ordered myself a new boat and i didn't think it would be this hard to find a secure boat storage space for it, so far i haven't had any luck finding somewhere, on the bright side i still gotta another 6 weeks till i should take delivery of my new fishing boat.

Does anyone know if someone has set up a boat storage yard in brisbane? most boat clubs i have rung, have at least 20-30 members on the waiting list for hard ground storage. so that doesn't really help me when the waiting list is around 9-18 months.


any idea's?



a tip for people thinking of downsizing to a unit from a house. don't do it!!!! you will regret not having a backyard.

maybe look at one of the self strorage places, i know the one at burpengary off the highway stores boats, just not uner cover. cheers Lee

What about Redland City Marina? They are always advertising in the local rag for rack and stack as well as trailer storage.

I noticed today up at scarborough where the combie trader use to leave from that it has now been turned into a boat storage yard .

Thanks guys, after a lot more ringing around this morning and driving, i managed to find a secure storage place with hard ground storage in brisbane with 24/7 access today, so i've one less thing to worry about:)

If someone had a capital to set up a dedicated covered, boat/caravan storage business, with a wash down bay and reasonable rates. i'd imagine they would do well in brisbane.
