Had an awesome trip out to coles reef over the weekend.
Got a nice swag of quality trout and red throat but the high light was live baiting spanish mackeral.
Threw a small slug on the reef edge and got a dozen livies of various types. Anchored on a good drop off and sent the livey back down.
Rarley would it last 30secs without being smashed.
Sharks nailed a few aswell as a few unstopables.

Where'd you pick up the long line hooks?
I found 5 long line clips, leaders and hooks set up the back of the Pioneer R. I
took them into work to show a friend of mine and he notified the fisheries. Next
thing the fishos show up at work and i tell them the story. They wanted to keep
them all but i wanted the hooks, so we cut the hooks off all but 1. I kept the 4
hooks and the last intact line is now on display with the fisheries, when they
have there little booth set up at shows and such.

Great fun.
Spanish are a legendary fish, especially when they get big, they start to take on the 'evil' appeal.
Thanks for sharing.
