Hi All,
Left Manly at 5.30 am and headed out to the bar then to Deep Tempest. Bar was good and conditions a little more blowy at about 10-12 knots. Made it uncomfortable with the chop coming one way and the current the other way. The drift was fairly fast but we still managed. Between the four of us, we caught our bag of snapper. Back inside by 2.00pm. Trip home was magic as the wind had died right down.

Well done there Don. I wish my boat wasn't playing up and I would have been out there with you. Maybe next time. Enjoy your feed of snapps!!

Cheers.....Terry........

Fished the 29's ourselves. Late run out leaving Manly around 9, current was a torrent and drift was over a knot according to the GPS. Mad floating almost impossible. After 2 the wind and current dropped right out. Bricked by 2, had another big one near the surface when it started the biggest run before it busted off, guess it was sharked and finally a little snap hit the boat. Went 20lbs, we didn't get our bag but came home with one each and with the big one hanging out of the esky decided to come home. Water was filthy but, very brown with very poor clarity.

Hi Pete,
The Snapper were around the 2-3 kilo mark. No big stuff yet but they are roeing up so the bigger ones shouldn't be too long in coming.
