Hello Fellas,
I am going out overnight tonight and need to find a ramp close to the seaway with security parking as I have had a trailer flogged years ago and dont want the same heartache. I know there is Rudi Mas but anywhere closer to the seaway at Labrador or any where else.
Thanks in advance for your help

I dont think there is anywhere closer than Jacobs Well.....

You could ask Runaway Bay marina, maybe they could sort something out.

i reckon insurance is all you can do. If they want your trailer theyre gonna get it. Its something we all grapple with.

The TE Peters ramp across the canal from the casino is another option to put your boat in and you could the park car and trailer out on the street in front of a house which is signiicantly safer than leaving c and t at the ramp. Crooks don't know what the story is then. PM if you want more ...

PS Another thought, There are also some AFs living fairly close to the the "Grand" ramp so parking b and t outside a house in that area may also be another possibility.

How long are you planning to stay out anyhow?

I have been doing all nighters off Gold coast for 10 years now, Normall the only boat off the coast, leave the car at the Deepwater carpark/ beside Charises seafoods. Lock trailer to car.
Police check and drive through all night when checking the night club, question anyone around, even me when I was going to get my car at 3am in the morning. Never known of anyone having problems. Very lit up.
Other think you can do is to put boat in at the ramp in the creek further down opposite the coastguard and park your car in the coasguard car park. They are there all night going in and out, say gday to them and they will know.

cheers
