I'd like to hear opinions from everyone who's had any experience with this particular rod (10-15kg or 15-24kg model) or witnessed it in action. What are its capabilities? Ideally I want to be able to throw lures (poppers, stickbaits and metals) ranging from 40-100g and will want to be using approx. 50lb braid. Maybe someone can anyone inform me of a similar rod that they believe is better for around the same $?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers mate. So you don't have anything right now to match with your Stella? What are you currently leaning towards? I hope we can get a few more comments.

They where supplied on Nomad as the 'boat rod' till the GT Special came along, IMO a bit sloppy for HD popping [they used] but allright for 50lb and 100 gm lures, Cy and Kerrin Taylor [Shimano Adds and QFM] have caught some good GTs in the Whitsundays on the T-Curves

Couple of Q's:

Min and max lure weight for both models? (based on experience)

Recommended braid for both models? (lb)

Ideal reel size for both models?

If anyone could answer any of these that would be great!

Cheers

I am leaning toward the T Curve atm but would love to find out some reports on the Avaya that Tackleworld have on offer.
