Bruce Cunningham and the Redcliffe Chamber of Commerce team pulled off an excellent fundraising event on Saturday May 30. It was a benefit dinner for the families of John Meiers and Jason Warry, the two men who were killed in a boating accident off Moreton Island recently.
ABT are auctioning a prize package to help with the fundraising. The package includes free entry worth $1100 to the Qld BREAM Open (typically held at the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show), 6 tournament shirts with customised graphics by professional designers, and you will fish with Andrew Howard out of his boat for the event. Andrew and John Meiers fished this event together in 2008, so it's an event that holds a special place in Andy's heart. He's looking forward to fishing it with the person that wins the auction.
