hi,
just wondering if theres any rod builder in melbourne that can help me with changing my rod reel seat to matagi ones?.ant help would be appreciated.thanks.

You could try Wright's in Balcombe Road, Black Rock. I forget the actual name of the shop but it's down near the clock tower end. Helpful and friendly and he's done a couple of repairs for me over the years. If he can't do it I'm sure he'd know who could.

hi,
was thinking about changing my nitro's rod reel seat and grip over to split butt system with a more comfortable reel seat.

Mamoru's (Matagi) reel seat/handle set ups aren't that hard to do, expensive and maybe a little over the top for your rod. It isn't hard to do, you should think about doing it yourself. If you want some advice drop me an email. bearclawrods@iprimus.com.au
