I have now completed 8 hours in the new toy. It is a Brooker 4.85 side console with a 60 Yamaha efi fourstroke. I can't wait until the run in is complete to see whether it is propped correctly. I am very pleased with the performance so far. Here are some pics. Cheers Winston.:) :) :)

Thanks Guys, a mate and I went to Wathumba on Friday (show holiday) but the pickings were slim. Cost just over 20k which included sounder (Matrix 12), bimini, nav lights, compass and regos. Cheers Winston.

Nice mate. Is it just me or does that motor look low,,ie cav plate to bottom of hull.

Could be some gains to be had.

Dogsbody, I think that you may be right. The cavitation plate is lower than the hull (planing surface) but in line with the bottom of the keel. Which should it be? Cheers winston.

Bout 1 inch above keel,, maybe more it's a suck it and see type thing. See how it goes after it's run in then revisit.
