What sort of engine do you have. With some it is possible to plug directly into the engine electroncis. THis method is more accurate than the in line paddle wheel fuel line type devices, that also have to be user calibrated.

There are a stack of units on the market most of which are NMEA2000 compliant. You can set up an NMEA 2000 network with one guage and one one sender (fuel flow unit) without any hassles or if you are using an NMEA compliant sounder or GPS unit you can use that as the gauge.

In the basic set up you have brands such as Lowrance and Maretron, but there are a stack of others around.

Might look at a F210 myself, love to know the fuel usage at different rpm on mine. All I get is the fuel gauge needle jumping all over the place, and showing a completely different figure when you come off the plane. Only got a 60l tank, and carry 20l just in case becaue of the fuel gauge issues.
