What's the wooden club for...?

Probably for smacking sharks on the head to subdue them.

Or jetski riders :P

Hey, that's my tiny tinny 'Junior'
The club, or donger as it's known, is for cranky dogfish/catfish or irritating people at ramps ::)

Mate ill send you the design though if you want, but what i have in my tinny is a sounder box which is made of alloy but can be made of staino if you wish.

It is simply a box that has a perspex cover that is on a hinge, the sounder is mounted inside the box that is waterproof and on the perspex cover is the switch panel. This box simply pivots off the side of the boat on a bracket which is simple as and allows you to put it back to the side when you are fishing/crabbing or doing whatever and gives you more room.

The upside to having this box is that you arent held back from not been able to mount rod holders on your seats and also that you can put your keys/wallet/phone inside this box and they wont get wet.

regards,
Chris
