pretty good Motor, but they do take some feeding if you push them, overall they are no different to any other V6 carby Motor, do all the usual checks, keep the fuel up to it and your set.

I would expect a fuel usage of about 1 km/L, use a little more when it's crappy.

The 150 would push it ok, no world breaker but would do the job.

cheers

Yeah I agree with Smithy I have a 90 on a 5.2 plate alloy and compared to other the efi two strokes or four strokes she drinks fuel like I drink beer on friday night at the pub.
Havin said that you will generally find the purchase price of the boat with these motors is well down. I guess it depends on how many hours you are gunna do with it.

Thanks Guys

Can't have the motor competing for my beer money!

Might have found a boat with a 130 Honda 4 stroke.

don't be scared off buy all the fuel talk, it is a juggling act between purchase price, hours used, resale, service costs and a host of other stuff as well, so you need to do your sums properly and make up your mind armed with as much info as you can gather, without any brand loyalty or "mines bigger than yours" what I am getting at is the price difference could be a few grand, thats a lot of fuel to make up if you are a 2 hour a week user, so make sure of all the outcomes before you cough up your cash.
