With a good weather forecast for Saturday I thought it was a good chance of getting the family out on the water. With the kids dead keen on doing some reef fishing we thought we would head out Saturday morning to a spot that has been producing a few good fish for us. As you can see it was Reds for everyone (except me). The kids had a ball, to see the look on their face was priceless.
Sunday morning we headed out again with a fresh crew , but the conditions weren’t as good so we stayed in close. The highlight of the morning was my sister nailing a cobia at 19kg

Hey Muzz,
Last trip it was the young fellas first trout this trip it was his first red, I bet he cannot wait until the next trip, excellent stuff.

Looks like that deckwash would of came in handy by looks of that cobia.

We should be out there again today by the observations, but the forecast looks like it might be ok again next days off.

Cheers

Thanks for all the comments,

JB Yes its a 6.0m Edencraft.

Geeb I've told the kids the boat is their inheritance, so I'm not sure they'll be keen on a 3 way split.

Seith I think Santa will be bringing more fishing gear this year
