Went out today to deckie for my old mate John Palermo on his boat "Nitro" out of South Passage. Conditions were beautiful with a SE ground swell running and a light south wester. Snapper were thick with 12 POB we bagged out with fish up to 7kg and at 10am we had to leave them chewing. Happy Days ;D

Rosco - We fished the wider grounds off moreton. Saw Bill Coreton in the distance from where we were but he was only around for a little while.

All the snapper were caught on pillies and just standard bottom bashers doing the damage. Only one head in the photo dreemon, there were a few sharks around but only 4 fish in total lost to sharks. The current was pretty much non existant. Get out there and get amongst them if you can. ;D

Great effort mate.
Looks like everybody got to take home a nice feed for the family.
Great to come back from a trip and have the family excited to have some fillets of fish.
Even though cleaning fish can be a pain in the arse......it's a great pain to have.

Cheers, Jason.

Johnny's the man to head out with off South Passage mate, only one of the charter blokes who seems to nail the snapper time and time again.
