Hi all,

I want to replace the hubs on my trailer.

Valiant hubs are currently fitted and need replacing.

Can I purchase a pair of galvanised ford hubs and fit them straight to the axle or is there more to it than that?

After looking at spare parts online I noticed axles come in SL and LM noticed similar with bearings what is the difference and how can I tell which I have?

I realise I will have to get new rims but have to do this anyway.

Will be renewing brake callipers also.

Thanks,

Dave

You can get Gal hubs at Super cheap or BIAS boating, around 30 Bucks a set.

And that includes studs, nuts, seals, and bearings, Mine have been on 7 years with bearing buddies and still good.

Mine are Holden sizes, think Ford are there as well.

Also try a trailer manufacturer in your area.....might find 'em cheaper.
