Redclaw

Heading to Lake Monduran for a few days next week. Does anyone know whether the lake holds redclaw?

A group of us were there last month, we tried to catch red claw as well as shrimp. We gave up after two days when we only ended up with 8 small shrimp.

The mat be there, but we were unable to locate them. Even tried over night.

Have not had any luck at Monduran,but on a trip to Somerset dam we cleaned up befor Easter running about 12 oprea house traps overnite we got around 50kg of reds good size in three days secret bait was the key?[no meat] Mike

just for the record 3 days x4 guys 2x boats about 20 redclaw per day per person

Thanks guys...You were right...no redclaw to speak of at Monduran...No Barra either while we were there.
