Where is he ?? ( Ray Carter)

Ray used to be here on the Sunshine Coast but when I went to his previous address he had moved on.

He used to do all my rod and reel repairs and I would love to catch up with him again. ( He had a very large collection of antique gear as well )

Does anyone know where he has gone ???

if that's the guy that was on bradman ave he passed away from cancer last year

Hunge is on the money. Ray passed away last year aftere a long battle with prostate cancer. He used to live on Bradman Ave just passed the canal bridge. As far as I know, his wife Barb still lives there and his son was doing some rod repairs etc when Ray was in hospital. He was a lovely bloke and only too ready to help out with hard to get spares or reel repair advice. I personally miss him and used to enjoy popping in and having a chat when going past. It's a good reminder for us blokes to have regular digital and PSA prostate checks.

Thank you very much for the info on Ray. Yes it is the same man. I was saddened to read of his passing and very sorry that I didnt know about his illness to have said good bye to him.
