Evinrude 50 hp - 4 stroke 2000 mod

hey all , am looking at a boat with evinrude 50 hp 4 stroke, not knowing enough about them, id thought id tap into the ausfish brains trust and get some feedback! Keen to hear from owners - ex owners ect. Thank in advance , danno

had a 70 2000 model 4stroke had a few problems when i first got it second hand hand a lot of grit in the water intake and on occasion would only go to 1500 revs changes the plugs and never missed a beat after that and was very good on fuel 60 lt tank went from bribie to brennans shoals off moreton and motored back and forward all day and into bulwer and back on just over half a tank of fuel
