Polycraft prop size,

I have a 455 poly side console with a 50 suzuki 4 stroke,and I am curious about the size props everyone else with a 455 poly uses. I have a standard 13 inch prop atm, i reckon its abit slugish off the mark,

Any thoughts appreciated

They are all sluggish off the mark, unless you want to sacrafice top end speed. I blame the flex in the hull for that. I think mine is a 13pitch, on a 50hp Yam 4stroke. I get 27knt at around 5400rpm when solo, IIRC.

Tried four different props on a 50 honda and a 455. Ended up keeping the factory ally one - nothing could beat it.

Hey Mate,

Have the same boat and Motor as you. (same name as well...)

Looking at trying out a few S/S props out in the near future, will let you know how I go.
