Hi fellas

Was just wondering if anyone knows much about seatamer boats as there was one for sale at the boat dealers. They look a very solid plate boat!! The boat i was looking at was a 5.8m rampage with twin 50 yammie 4 strokes on it,my immediate thoughts were it would be slugish,as it's a large boat with heaps of free board and quite beamy!

any thoughts/opinions would be good

cheers mal:)

there a newcastle mob, apparently they do some coast guard, firebrigade, and other commercial vessels.I have seen a 6.4m seatamer rampage with a 225hp yammi on it,it was a big boat and the bloke said it was built to survey and was maximum hp,so maybe the 5.8 could do with a 150 or175,anyway just a thought as the one for sale he want 30 for it,thats a lot considering you would have to re-power it

cheers mal

They are one of the best built custom boats IMHO.
Twin 50s sound a bit small though. Twin 70s + sound more like it.
