Hey all, quick question...

Just registered my boat at Qld Transport the other day...

Got me trailer plate but have to get stickers for boat of course... Just wondering is the rego number on the payment receipt at the top left corner is the actual boat rego number?

Yeah I know they send out a sticker with rego number etc etc but want to get a head start... Looks like it is as it is in boat rego format... i.e. SM848Q and the trailer rego number on recipt matches the plate they gave me :)

Make sure the letters & numbers are at least 200mm high, a mate got booked for having his 150mm high.

Yup 200 high they will be :)
Yeah I have seen some boats around with stickers that look more like 150 than 200... Hmmm

150 is legal in NSW.
I'll be blowed if I can see why my tiny little tinny with a 15hp motor on the back needs numbers 200mm high so the boys in blue can see them and a jetski that can do 180km/hr needs 100mm. Dammed if I can see the logic in that...or in the size differences between states. Maybe they've been playing with 'the little blue boy' a bit much and gone blind in QLD.
