Marine maps online

Hello world,
Maybe a silly question, :P But I'm wondering if there is a Google sort of thing for marine charts etc, so you can work out distance and travel time over a certain course, etc. I was hopeing to be able to just sit at the computer and have a play.

You could sit on the boat with a map GPS and put in points and make a route then activate the route and see what the distance is that way.

Google Earth has a path feature that will give you leg distance or journey distance.. Easy to use and better than any alternatives I've seen on the net myself.
