Yesterday I had Anson, Andrew and Ming out for a jigging trip. After stopping for livies and trying a couple of spots where big fish hang out, we lobbed on a reef packed with school size fish. Well mostly school size fish. One livey nearly got taken to the bottom before the hooks pulled and Anson got dusted up on the first hookup he had on the jig. In the end we bagged out on Kingfish letting a heap go and were one under on Amberjack. A good day and the boys called the trip off early with no energy left after pulling in fish. The jigs also outfished the livies which was good.

What were conditions like out there? looks a little cappy in the background:)

Yep went on a 10-15 forecast and had 20SE all day.

Was that you I saw East of Hutchies at one stage. Blue Stabi with a light coloured motor cover. Bout midday. Think we passed you when we were on the troll?

well done smithy it sounds like you put them on the spot.it pays to have local knowledge.
the cat is about 2 weeks away from being finished.
i havenot heard from pete yet if u can give him a reminder that would be good.

Scott it was and I gave you a call. You must be having radio dramas. Scotty was coming through good but you were missing him and then I heard you try and log off with Bribie on 21 before you went to 73 and they did come back to you on 21.

I tried to call you mate, to only find out later the deckie bumped the radio while he was having a drive and it was on Ch20.
Pretty sure thet where you ended up for a while is the same area the Cod in my avatar came from. Some monster AJ's there arn't there.

hows it going mate still getting amoungst them good to see.almost finished building house so hopefully have few spare weekends comming up try to slip in a trip.doing anything for fraser this year?
