We missed yesterday as the guys plane was delayed, hit the water today and found no oil, a bit green inshore but clear blue and 27C out wide. From Smithy's report looks like we went too deep, tried Caloundra wide, lots of pearlies and parrot but no size, plenty of sweetlip on the southern Barwon but again pretty small and nothing worthy of a photo.
We will see if we can find a little marlin to pull their string tomorrow.

Rodger, I fished Sunday near where you fished last weekend. Found a nice patch of Slimies, sat on them for hours with nothing. Persistance paid off eventually and i got a nice black of around 40kg. Dont let the green water put you off.

We did a little better today, went 1 from 3 on black marlin but wish I had read your reply Jeffo it would have saved me a lot of steaming time. We will give the green a try tomorrow if the weather is kind. :)
