Hi all,
I have found a boat I am interested in buying, I am in Townsville and the boat is in Brisbane (Manly). Would anyone be able to advise on someone reliable to perform a professional inspection on the boat/motor and trailer. A rough idea of cost would also be good.
Cheers

Hi White Pointer
It is a 1999 23' GRP Yamaha/Southwind longboat with a Yamaha 100HP 4 stroke. Sitting on a tandem axle trailer.
Not sure if this model had timber stringers...

G'day
Is it private or is it at the marina?

I am sure there will be someone here who can at least have a look to see if it worth paying a qualified person to give it a detailed inspection, I have looked at a couple of Boats that were in my area for people that lived Interstate and gave them an opinion of condition and so on first hand rather than photos and dealer/seller opinions.
Give Grand Marlin a nudge. He will help you

G'day
The brokerage should have an idea of a reputable inspector, failing that speak with the marina office.

G'day,
Thanks for the info.
There are a few old hand marine surveyers around SEQ who might be interested in this job for a fee. Any names come to mind from anyone?
